The Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs was Instituted and Installed on April 5, 1932. Supreme President, Helen McHugh of Watertown Emblem Club #6, performed the Installation ritual.  Helen Bomer of Peabody Emblem Club #2 was installed as the Charter President.

First State Convention was held in Boston on June 5th and 6th, 1933.

Two resolutions were past: 1) To create the office of 4th Vice President and 2) To create the Offices of two Assistant Marshals.

At this convention, a motion was made to tax each member 5 cents.  The cost of the convention was $5 for a single or $5.50 for a double with meals included.

Programs and Awards

1954- The MSAEC Scholarship Program was instituted under the guidance of the State President, Lucille Rizzo from Melrose #89.

1976- The KT/DA Fund was established by PSP Mary Keller, during her term as State President.

1978 - The Press Book Award was started by State President, Julia Devaney.

1985- The Historian Book Award was started by State President, Lucille Belmore.
