"Patients Helping Patients" since 1964.
KT/DA pays no salaries or rents, except for expenses like postage, telephone and printing, all funds raised go to benefit kidney patients directly.
Some of the services provided by KT/DA
for patients in New England are:
KT/DA provides direct financial aid to needy kidney patients and donors in New England through its Patient Assistance Program.
KT/DA awards scholarships to kidney patients or members of their immediate families for continuation of post-secondary school education.
KT/DA provides a variety of social activities for patients and their families, including regular meetings.
KT/DA publishes a quarterly newsletter, The RenalGram, which informs members about recent medical advances, facts relating to treatment, upcoming events for patients, important legislation and news of KT/DA's activities.
KT/DA publishes a KT/DA Patient Handbook which discusses many aspects of dialysis and transplantation, including the types of dialysis, transplantation protocols, diet, blood pressure, anemia, financial resources, sexual problems and psychological adjustment.
Since 1976, MSAEC has given over $222,000. The MSAEC is the largest and oldest benefator of KT/DA.

Some run some walk and some just rock - Everyone has fun.
Celeste and Madi enjoy the trail often. Today they are raising money for KT/DA on their walk.

This team of Emblem members have raised over $230,000 for kidney patients in the New England area.
